Wait, so you can just bring it in whenever, say "give me a wash" and they put the car through? NICE !!!! So the extra $2k, over lifetime of vehicle, if you figure a wash is $5, then over 400 washes, you've made it up. That's only a little over 7.5 years getting a wash per week.

I think the clearcoat would have been washed off long before then, but it's doable...

Point taken.

I'm not sure what a good car wash costs in other parts of the US but a high quality wash and interior clean in the DFW area is $15-20.

Obviously a free Lexus car wash is no reason in and of itself to buy a CPO car but it is a nice perk that is part of CPO. IN my opinion the CPO program at Lexus is truly a good deal but you have to experience it yourself to see, I would have not have belived how well they treat you until I went thru the process. And one I plan to take advantage off in the colder winter months. The important point is the Lexus wash at least at my dealer is a good quality wash that does not damage the car.

btw - there are $5 car washes in DFW area but they are crap - an excellent way to damage your paint. Putting a $50K+ car thru a $5 car wash is a bad plan.

If i had to choose from this list, i'd say #3....low milage and in good shape

personally id be fine with a base model...i dont need nav or any of that nonsense...all i want are heated seats
im sure you could find a much better equipped UL model with all the bells and whistles for under 25k if you would rather have a decked out LS.

Default CPO - response

If this is just a daily driver then you really don't need nav and if you are going to be driving a four year old car then I am not sure resale in another three or four will matter much. Check this one out... mileage is really irrelevant on these vehicles anyway...

CPO does have its perks. I am on my 3rd Lexus, my first CPO and they treat me the same as when I bought my first ES350 and an LX.

Good luck

Looks new. I have been to many upscale dealerships and North Park trumps them all. They are extremely picky about their inventory.

Here in AZ, a hand wash STARTS at $30, plus $15 for wheel detailing. So the dealer handwash is worth $50, only the dealer does a better job than Simoniz. No free car washes for life at the dealer here, as the dust gets one's car dirty in a day. Only way to get the car wash is to have service done. For this reason, I spread out the service.

been looking for ~3years... the sickest deal around..

try nashauto.com.... they have or had one 2006 gray 16K miles for $28K but could drop 1-2K on dealing...

I did a little research and it seems that the free car wash offer for CPO cars is a local dealer specific item and not offered in all markets. My experience with the Lexus dealer in Chicago and in Dallas is they both offer the same free weekly car wash service for CPO cars but other dealers in different locations and markets may not offer or provide this service. I think the official written statement on CPO car is that Lexus will provide free wash anytime the car is on for service.
