Question 2001 LS 430 - Chrome Wheel Caps

I have lost a chrome wheel cap for my 2001 LS 430. When I went to the Dealer, they have a slightly different cap that fits loosely and the logo is not on top of the cap, but recessed in an indentation. My cap has the number 99-2011 stamped on the underside of the cap. I can't seem to find these anywhere. The Lexus parts rep said typically folks with this problem have aftermarket rims and the Lexus logo is slightly different. However, mine is the regulation Lexus logo and my car was purchased straight from Beverly Hills Lexus. Any thoughts on where to find a cap that fits and looks the same as the others? I've searched the net & ebay, and found nothing!

Buy 4 new ones so they match. These look like they're right?

Unfortunately if you want to get it corrected in a timely basis you may need to just buy 4 new ones so they match. The alternative is to just take your time and keep looking/searching - set up an automated ebay search with email notification - etc.

If you do get just buy a new 4 matching set - you can then maybe sell the remaining three individually, or as a partial set, or after buying the new set, keep looking for the missing 4th cap, and then sell the extra set when you find the missing one. Yep it is a hassle for sure.

I have those exact wheels and caps on my 04 UL. I purchased a new replacement from Superstition Springs Lexus. Don't know why your dealer can't order them. You might try another dealer.

Default Dealer Caps Do Not Fit

With the exception of the Dealer wanting $65/cap, they do not fit my wheels properly anyway. They are loose and I do not want to lose these caps. The Dealer parts rep said I could glue them to the wheel, but they would probably be broken each time the tire needs to come off the wheel. Don't want to go down that road. They have to exist somewhere.

If the dealer part is loose fitting, I would guess they aren't the right parts. My caps fit perfectly, are OEM Lexus and cost $40.

Try another dealer.

Campisi...the logo on the Ebay caps is not the Regulation/Trademarked Logo. If they fit, I may purchase them anyway, but just thought I'd share the difference in Knockoff's vs Factory.

When the Ebay caps don't have the proper Lexus logo, they are a knockoff as you stated. How do you know those caps will actually fit your wheel until you get them?

The Lexus P/N for the chrome caps that fit my identical wheel is 42603-50190.

The guy says they are factory takeoffs - Lexus OEM. Call him up if you have questions. Even so I'd buy em if they were knockoffs and I felt condident in the seller. The guys feedback is excellent.
I have those exact same wheels on my 03 and lost one cap. Mine have the gold "L" on them and the aftermarket ones I bought have the L slightly different but they fit perfectly and look good on my wheels. Been on there about 18months, no problems.

Sorry, I just can't imagine putting something that is obviously a fake on an LS.

Just my opinion.

Someone at Lexus told you to glue the center caps on? What dealer was this? Call another dealer close to you, and I'm sure they will be able to get the right cap.

If that guy's part number is correct Sewell Lexus apparantly has 'em for $35. I'd call em to verify first, though. I think Club Lex members get a discount from Sewell. From the vendor discount codes thread (last updated 6/9/9 so don't know if this works): The current promo code is “CL911M” and/or “CLUBLEXUS”.

I took the part number right off the receipt.
