Cloudy passenger window
I recently noticed that my 06 LS has a cloudy passenger window after sitting in the garage for a month or two. I live on the ocean and I thought maybe salt spray had dried on it... when I tried to clean it with windex I saw no improvement. Has anyone else had a similiar problem?

It's an 06 ML with about 60k miles. I have a 01 4runner that my son drives where the windows in the front on both sides never appear clean even after a good washing...but my problem is with the front passenger side only and it looks like the glass is distorting the light that passes through it. I will have a glass man come over and take a look. I just wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else on the forum

unknown residue removed
Resolved issue with old fashioned vinegar...I never use the stuff because I thought windex was the best cleaner. Guess I was wrong...

Acid clean...
Good job, too bad no pictures. Maybe it was dog saliva...

My guess is some kind of water deposits from the salty air. My dealer uses bronze wool to clean residue off the window. Vinegar is acedic acid, so the water deposits were probably dissolved by it. Rubbing alcohol works for cleaning just about anything.
