The best way to deal with a private seller is to buy a round trip ticket, recruit a friend to drive you, or hook a car trailer to your truck, go there, and do it all in person. Pay in cash, make sure any listed lien is paid and released, and bring back the car, title, keys, everything.
how do i check for liens in FL?
oh doesnt ebay guarantee protection up to 50k?

Hopefully you have the time to be patient and find the right car and the right buying circumstances. IIRC, someone here was recently lamenting that all the good cars appeared to be for sale in California.

99% of them are all sold by dealers.
i think im gonna go with one in FL.
does anyone know how to check lien search on a car in FL?
