who likes Blue Onyx Pearl?

It is a very dark blue. It appears to show dust and dirt nearly as readily as black. From my research of cars for sale, I believe the sales popularity was medium:
Black: Top seller, can't swing a dead cat without hitting a black LS
Flint mica, silver, whites: Very popular, appear on the market frequently
Blue onyx, gold: Moderately popular, requires a wider search
Black cherry, Briarwood, Cypress: Fairly rare, requires a wide search, except cypress (green) cars seem to remain on the market longer.

One drawback for me was the interior color limitations. I wanted a black interior and the only colors offered with blue onyx were cashmere & ash (premium & ML) and ecru (CL & UL).

Of all the LS colors I've seen (haven't seen briarwood), none of them look "bad." All of them still make the car elegant. I saw a cypress one in person and it looked pretty good. OTOH, black/white/red, etc standard & metallic paint on a Corolla/camry/civic just looks cheap. It's the pearl that makes the paint stand out.
