On my ES I pulled the center console out and had full access to the cables to add iPod integration. On my LS how do I get to the back of the stereo? Any real risks in letting a local stereo shop do it? I don't want my console scratched, squeaky, etc... thanks.

I trust myself with my LS more than a local stereo shop who has likely never seen an LS before. Search these forums for nav install or vaistech install for instructions to disassemble the center console. One example is https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...e-driving.html

I agree - I'd rather spend 2 hours taking it apart carefully than trust some high school dropout who just needs to finish yours and 2 other cars before he can get off work andgo see his girlfriend! Trust me, would be easy to scratch and damage lots of parts on this. Nothing is hard about the disassembly, just read the directions and take your time.
