I hear the serenity are a good choice for the LS430, as they are quiet and compliment the car pretty well.

Serenity is one step behind MXV4 in tire rack ratings.

I'll be needing new tires soon and my advice is stay away from the ER33. It has about the worst treadware rating of any tire out there. It has a treadware rating of 140 where the serenity has 400 and primacy MXV4 has 620.
I don't particularly want a super long mileage tire but 140 is ridiculous. I had them on my LS400 and didn't get 20k miles out of them.
I'm leaning to the Michelin Primacy MXV4 H rated or Bridgestone Serenity. My originals are Dunlop SP Sport 5000 and I want something less high performance with the smoothest ride.

I had them too on my previous car. They are not bad, but like hoonunya said - they won't last long. Mine after 10.000 miles were worn and also started to be noisy in the end.

Go with the Primacy's. The best tyres i've ever had!

I don't like um. Especially the big hairy ones. I heard they bite.

JK. I hear they pretty good tires.

Not sure what they call them in the US but I had a set of Turanza GR-80s. They've been replaced by 90s which are meant to be quieter. Not too bad if you take it easy, and very quiet. Otherwise I find that they lack grip. I have since replaced them with Bridgestone Potenza RE050s.

We got over 40k miles out of the OEM Dunlops (which was unbelievable to me) and only bought new tires because they were separating from age. There was probably another 5k of tread on them.

We replaced them with our big sedan standby--Michelin MXV4 Primacys. I have them on my S-class Mercedes, and we've had them on previous MB and Lexus that we've owned. They last, they're quiet, and they have reasonable stick. I don't do a lot of tear-a$$ing around in either the S-class or the LS (that's what my SL500 roadster is for) so they suit very well. I've tried Continentals and Pirellis, but I come back to the Michelins because they are the best compromise between wear, noise, and stick.

Good luck.
