Changing O2 sensors bank 1 and 2 for 02LS430 HELP!!!
Hello guys! I need your help on locating bank 1 and 2 o2 sensors for my 2002 LS430 and a little guide on how to replace them. I have the parts already but having thoughts and doubts. Please advice. Thanks

1) You need a ramp to elevate the car to see (and remove) the Ox sensors. They are on the exhaust pipes just before the catalytic converters.
2) You need an Ox sensor socket (auto parts store) to loosen the sensors.
3) Did you get the sensors with the connector already on the cable? Otherwise you have to cut off the old connector and attach it to the new Ox sensor.
4) Are you replacing the sensors that are ahead of the catalytic converters? These are the usual culprits for bad mileage etc. The rear sensors may also need to be replaced.

HI Bon, Thanks for the reply. Yes I did get the oem from lexus and it says on the code reader that bank 1 and 2 (before the cat) needed to be replaced so i did get them. one has a longer cable and one is just regular length.

OEM is good as you made your job a whole lot easier:
1) Drive up on your ramp to elevate the car to see (and remove) the Ox sensors. Use your new Ox sensors to ID the old ones.
2) You need an Ox sensor socket (auto parts store) to loosen the sensors.
3) Unscrew the old sensors and disconnect the electrical connector by pressing on the releasing tang.
4) Install the new Ox sensors using anti-seize on the threads. (The new Ox sensors may already have it on the threads.)
5) Route the wires just like you found them, connect the electrical plugs back together and you're done.
Good luck!

The driver side was a pain in the *** though!
But after installing and clearing the codes...the vsc light came on with a red triangle indicator that says check vsc! How do i reset this??
