Default Extra insulation?

Has anyone thought about adding extra insulation to there LS? I know the car is already quiet but i think a lil more around the wheel wells couldn't hurt. Any thoughts and/or suggestions?

I had a 2007 RX400h that I thought had excessive road noise from around the wheel wells. I tried adding brush on sound deadening to the wheel wells. I think I put on three coats. It really didn't make any difference. I think you may want to look at a different tire if your noticing excessive noise...

+1 on the tires. I'm currently running on another set of wheels and the tires noise is way louder than my previous.

For quieting, try Dynamat, the ones for use in doors and such for stereo installs. They are self abrasive and works pretty good.

Second Skin is another alternative to Dynamat. I think I installed about 3 rolls in my 2000 Acura TL, kept it quite and the stereo system has more bass now. When the sub kicks in, the trunk does not rattle like before.
