i am sure there is a direct math equation for finding this out but my guess is that if the arms are each 5mm difference in size that by putting on the 5mm shorter arms on mine to reduce negative camber that i prolly lost about 5mm of clearance. therefore by putting 5mm longer arms (longer than stock) you should in fact gain 5mm of space.
this is all without changing the height at all. if you dropped it down even lower you could increase the negative camber angle even more.

hmmmmm,that makes sense. lol!
if you take away 5mm from one spot you would gain it in another and vice verse.
when i picture it the wheels are essentially on a giant circle right and if you push out the bottom 5mm doesn't that mean the top will go in 5mm? take all degrees out of it cuz that is the confusing point and just imagine a circle with a line down the middle like a clock, if the line points to 12 and 6 on the clock and you move the top part to 1 then the bottom part will point at 7 if the distance between 6 and 7 is 5mm then the distance between 12 and 1 is 5mm.
can you please explain it better then if you feel this is not the case

ohh,,
i was seriously expecting you to come back with some real explanation that made actual sense. as opposed to my ***-umptions. i am not a real scientist, i merely play one on television.
but yeah the degrees of camber and caster stuff really blow my mind so i try not to get into that side of it.
