Default New to CL intro (yeah... another one :-)

Hello, just bought a 2002 LS430. It is in very nice condition. Well, actually just about like new with only 14k miles on the clock. I previously had a 98 LS400 that was totaled in an accident. This is the replacement. Has Nav, ML and K40 RADAR.

Anyway, just thought I would introduce myself. I have posted on the LOC forum under "landar" (swap the first and last letters) in the past. I really like having a dedicated LS430 forum. Wont bore you with a bunch of pics, just one! These are the original wheels AND tires. I have since put 17" wheels and tires on her.

You know, I was thinking the exact same thing. Tinting will help keep the interior looking and smelling like new. I already "Leatheriqued" the seats but don't see much difference. They really are not dirty or worn. Anyway, I love my new "Golden" Lex baby. Then again, I am a little biased.

Beautiful car - great paint color and nice low mile catch! Only thing I'd change is the gold badges.

The gold package is soooo 90's and it is dated which make the car look dated IMO. I have a distain for pin strips, viny tops and gold package. All the above tells a fad of an certain era in life in our pop culture, that has been played out like the poka dots.

Yep sorry to be negative about a small part of the car - I really think its a great find and an absolutely beautiful car. But I really dislike gold badging. First thing I'd do is to get that changed out to chrome in a heartbeat. But that's just my personal preference if the new owner likes it then its all good. Just providing what I hope is taken as constructive feedback.
