Considering picking up a low mileage CPO Lexus LS430. The car is mint, it only has 15k mi, just had the 20k mi service performed.
Is there anything unique to this vehicle that I should be aware of such as a specific problems with this model vehicle that I should inquire about?
Thanks

There seems to be few specific problems with this model but
1. I've read the folding outside rearview mirrors can be a point of concern. Different ideas for addressing this are discussed here and other threads

2. The telescoping steering column can be a point of concern I've read recently. When I was shopping for my 430 I was told to listen carefully for rattles or trouble sounds when placing the key in the ignition and prompting the steering column to move. Recent discussions have talked about disabling the telescoping movement.
These are the two issues I've read the most about since I joined CL in Feb. Apparently both can be expensive. Probably not problematic yet with only 15K I'd imagine.

what is the option package? What color interior/exterior?
The car sounds like a winner with the low mileage. The option package will let the forum know what to look out for.

Color is black, w/ivory interior. Unfortunately it does not have nav, which appears to be the only major option missing. They are offering it with a 3yr 100k mi warranty.

The car is most likely a premium edition ( assuming it has cooled front seats). That is about the lowest trim level you will find - despite what the dealer may say. Some folks really like that trim level because there is less to go wrong. I think the price is OK for a low mileage CPO premium. Not great, though.

Way over priced for an 06 base model. If Nav is missing, its all missing. Nav is tied into the most popular and most wanted option packages. Just say NO to base models. You could get into an LS460 for not that much more.

If you decide to buy it..at the time of purchase they will offer you a 2 year extension on the warranty for 1450...if you plan on keeping the car for a while buy the extra warranty. It will give you a five year-85000 mile warranty. If you drive less than 17000 miles a year you good to go.

Just as reference I paid $33K for my mint 14k mile Premium option LS430 CPO from Lexus last August 09. And btw I am one of those rare buyers that love the non Nav version. No way I want 2006 Nav in my car. Lots of folks love the Nav equiped cars so you just have to know what options you want in the car and find the right package.

Yep I noticed that green one also. I'd get on the phone and buy that one in a heartbeat if I was still looking. I love that color. Surprised its still showing avail. Usually I found that ultra low mile cars get sold in a few hours.
