Default Front Headlight clip for 05 LS430

Somebody hit the side of the bumper on our LS430, which resulted in the clip (on the bottom, near the side of the bumper) breaking off.

Does anybody if there is such thing as a seperate headlight bracket that I can buy?

You guys think the headlight is still secure enough to stay on the car as-is, with that one clip broken?

Help would be appreciated!

Best,
Jason

I think should be fine and as for the clip, you can check the dealer. If the clip break off in one piece then you should able to use some type of heat gun to melt it back in place or super glue. Hope this help and wish every thing work out.

If this is what you're reffering to

then i dont think you can just get a separate clip but you can try the heatgun method as mentioned above to try and repair the tab as i see it being done on most of the headlights that are for sale on ebay, but i wouldnt leave it as is.

If you have the piece I would suggest you bond it back on using J-B Weld. I have had amazing success with this epoxy on plastic and even metal parts. You can build the epoxy up on the outer surfaces and provides more strength than just apply glue in the joint surfaces.

A few weeks ago I repaired an 18 inch vertical split in our garbage can. It is still intact after several lift and dumps by the pick up truck "pinchers".

Can you post a pic of the chipped headlight?

Not even that, I know it sounds super ghetto but Im pretty sure the LS430 is going to your sister right? if thats the case literally just JB weld the clip back on... Im pretty sure its going to beat buying a whole new headlight for the car... I mean it will do the job as ghetto as it sounds...
