well i got everything on and then i noticed that the fronts were rubbing on my 17's (read that on here) so i took the fronts off and left the rear. when driving away i noticed my controller has the driver rear shock showing that its going up. i get out of the car and wait a few minutes but it doesnt do anything. the screen still says its going up and will stop occasionally but then return. did i mess something up? maybe the rear height sensor?

I don't know and can't answer your problem concerning the height going up but as far as the rubbing its one of three things (or both)...
1. The addition of the SS kit drop blocks is pushing the backing plate against the rotor. In order to fix this, you must cut the backing plate. You cannot remove the backing plate due to the fact, the backing plate acts as a spacer where the front hub bolts down to. Just removing the backing plate would cause in misalignment of the front rotor and caliper.
2. The metal clip locking the crown nut for the outer tierod ends could be rubbing against the inner barrel of the 17" wheel. To help solve this problem, either try bending the clip so it no longger contacts the rim or replace it with a cotter pin and bend it so it does rub.
3. The larger head of the lower ball joint bolts (which is included in the SS kit) may be rubbing against the the inner barrel of the 17" rim. A cheap and easy method to help solve this is to use a die grinder and grind away some material from the top of the head of the bolt where it "domes" out. This shouldn't ruin the structural integrity of the bolt yet should be enough to clear the wheel.
When I had my SS kit installed, I 1st experienced all 3 of these. and fixed it by doing the above. Whatever you decide to do...best of luck.

i had the rubbing too when on the ss kit and controller. i had the stuff mentioned above done to fix it and it worked like a charm.
as for the controller doing the up and down thing. this plagued me for about the last 6 months of having the controller installed. sometimes i would park, unplug one of the controllers plugs so the whole thing would be flashing, wait 30 seconds, unplug the other plug, wait 30 seconds, then plug it all back in. sometimes this fixed it but only like 75% of the time. eventually my rear air susp went south quick so maybe this is like the 6 month warning signal... good luck.

Btw I think the only prob I have is the rubbing in the inner barrel (#3). Didn't sound like anything else was rubbing, well I hope lol. I'll update when I'm off again on wednesday.

Cool thanx. I had my boy look into my wheels while I rolled and he didn't see or hear anything but the wheels being rubbed. Let's just he was right or else is back to the lift lol.
