looking at a 2001 ls430 with 86k miles... base.. non navi.. may have mark levinson in the color i like.. black on tan with 17" chrome factory wheel upgrade. 1 owner no accid etc.

all dealer maintained so far but needs timing belt at 90k.. other fluids are good and needs tires soon.

whats a good price? thinking $10500. just the timing belt is 730 at dealer and 500 elsewhere and tires about 600 for nice ones. so costing about 12k when im am done with all that.

i believe dealer offered 10k.

looking for a daily driver to put alot of miles on and still be smooth, quiet and safe. i already have a ls460.

would like navi for just the look of the dash is way better , but factory navs are so outdated all the time, my sprint phone navi rocks and aftermarket navi will solve the bluetooth and navi deal for 150 bucks.

opinions by others that have looked and bought recently and problems to look for.

If it has a good service history, $10.5k is a good price. KBB is over 11.

Service history is of great importance with our cars. Without it, it's like taking a shot in the dark. 10.5 does sound good. I have not seen many LS430s even close to that.
