My saying is "Anything that a dollar can fix can never be that bad"! Of course there is aggravation, but it can and will get resolved. Good luck.

You should be able to push it back out easily and probably the paint will still be good with minimal chipping. The scratches you might even get away with touch up.

I had a similiar incident with my RX, some punk backed right into the bumper and pushed it in at the corner. I hammered it out after removing the bumper. You probably won't need a hammer.

wooo - I think that's bad enough that it will need a trip to the body shop to make it right.

Hey accidents happen to everyone at some time or another - at least no one got hurt.

I had a good friend in his late 40's, in a wheelchair since he was 23 yo, when he was paralyzed in a car accident as an innocent passenger. He used to say "if money can fix your problem its not really a problem".

Doesn't look to bad, I know it feels worse! I think you'll be ok when you get it checked out and feel better then fellow member! Hopefully the sensor isnt damaged, it doesn't look like it it. Some trim issues but, not to bad! All the best, I know how aggravating it is! L.G.N.M

On the LS, no idea, but on the RX it was remove any screw or bolt that looked like it was attaching the bumper to the body. I would imagine it's the same here. Eight bolts/screws perhaps...

did you have to remove the wheels and/or raise the car to get at those screws or could you just wiggle underneath and get at them?

thanks.

^^^

OP stated "drove right into a pole in my garage..."

A buddy of mine has multiple cars with scrapes on one or both sides from his wife pulling in / out of the garage. He's given up on fixing them unless they are really bad. He also has one or more poles in the middle, so he can't just let her park in the middle of a 2-car garage and park his truck outside.

Me either! I think my actions after an event like this would turn into a Tiger Woods moment.

calmed down a little today... doesn't seem quite so bad... i just don't have time to head over to a body shop to get estimates and i don't like that piece of bumper molding flapping around unsecured... i feel like someone could just walk by and rip that whole piece off... it should be fine... i hope...
