Are you guys getting the taillamp failure message when you replace taillamps with LEDs? Got another burned out 7443 today, so I've been thinking of LEDs again. I have all the bulbs, but still haven't figured out a way to bypass the lamp failure module without using resistors (they get VERY hot and potentially a safety issue).

RomanTPA,
Would you mind putting the quantities of each type bulb? I know it sounds like a dumb question but I'd like to order all the bulbs at once from one vendor without tearing apart taillights in such to see if more than one bulb per application is needed.
I'll buy you a beer if you're ever in Dallas
By the way, thanks for your efforts on these posts!

Using a small screw driver wrapped in tape, carefully pry the lens from the body. If you look closely on the "super shine" pic, on the upper and lower edge you should be able to just see the indent for the screwdriver to sit when prying. Be gentle and dont dent or mark the base!
From my Garax instructions:
Check bulb size when you open it, i think its a T10 but i cant remember for sure.

Quick question, I have an 05 LS430 and the CREE LED's seem to be to long. They're hitting the lense, so I'm not able to install the socket. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, what did you do to make it fit properly?
TIA
Richie
