My firend recently had his VSC light come on, on his RX350 and it turned out to be a loose gas cap. Yes you read correctly- his VSC light came on due to a loose gas cap, as many computer systems are intertwined.
The car indeed does use coilpacks. Coil packs can cause misfiring and cause some roughness in the engine.

Just changed all plugs and what I thought was #5 ignition coil, still got check engine vsc. Need to find which is #5.dam them coils are expensive, was tryin to go the cheap route and replace only the bad one . May just have to get all 8 coils . Some body with manual need help!

Thanks RomanTPA but I just got off phone with lexus dealer they gave me the cylinder order. Driver side is odd 1,3,5,7. Passenger side is even 2,4,6,8. I had it reveresed. Ill give it another try as soon as it stops this much needed rain outside. Almost everybody grass is brown and burnt around here.
