Hi All -

As a relatively new forum member and LS430 owner, one of the most helpful ways to familiarize yours truly w/ all things LS430 has been to read the excellent articles and reviews many of you forum members have kindly pointed out links to.

Tee, a generous and prolific poster (who's now seemingly sharing loyalties with the LS460 group) back in February posted the following article references which were comprehensive and objective in their content:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/5230922-post14.html.
Thanks much for your efforts, Tee !

My personal favorite review came from a Cincinnati auto writer by the name of Alan Vonderhaar and even tho it goes back to 2002, most of it is relevant today. How can you not read any article that starts off with: "I gave a low whistle when I looked at the bottom line of the window sticker when the Lexus LS 430 arrived in my driveway." It can be found here:
http://www.cars.com/lexus/ls-430/200...s/?revid=37992

Anyone else care to share their favorites?

Thanks, had not seen that one yet but it certainly does the LS430 justice.

It's (Vonderhaar's) the kind of review which covers a lot of ground in a fairly objective manner. Here's three more from the same cars.com website:
http://www.cars.com/lexus/ls-430/200...s/?revid=46642
Jim Flammang Cars.com February 27, 2002

Scroll down after the article for links to the next two:
Tom Strongman KansasCity.com February 16, 2002
Bob Golfen AZCentral.com December 8, 2001

Thx, Stan -

Love the statement which kinda says it all :
"It is a car for people who want world-class luxury, handling and safety and are willing to pay the price of a small house to get it. But it is also a car for people who understand the value of a dollar and want the most a vehicle can offer at a competitive price."

I loved the Canadian review! I've read most of the US reviews so it was good to see something "new". Plus the reviewer seemed both knowledgeable and unbiased. Thanks for sharing!

He seemed pretty knowledgeable until I saw the sticker prices he was quoting and I'm thinking he should really do more research before writing his reviews. Yeah, I know, I know, it finally dawned on me he was quoting Canadian $, not U.S. $.......... duh
