Is LS a dying model line?

Not to **** any Porsche-philes off, but the Panamera looks like a Boxster and a 911 got drunk and had a baby. They were rightly horrified ... they then whacked everything off behind the B-pillar and spliced on the ***-end of a LS460.

To be honest the Panamera looks 100x IMO then that BS Rapide which is 100k more than the Turbo...and the Panamera's rear seats are actually VERY comfortable...the car grows on you...

As far as the LS as long as the car undercut the competition and offer more it will never die.

The Panamera is definitely hit or miss with most people. The 911 front rear-ended by an evolved 928, mashed into a 4-door configuration. I think what saves it for me is that it looks okay in darker colors, but then in lighter colors the shape just looked like an stretched "something."
As for the LS, this is Lexus' flagship and the vehicle that put Toyota on the Luxury map. Lexus is not going to kill this ever and it will only evolve. I fully expect a V6 options, if for nothing else to just meet CAFE regulations. MB and BMW already have their "lesser" engine options on the S and 7 series, so Lexus will follow for sure. V6 on any flagship will not sell in large quantities, but it's an option.
As for slow sales on the LS430, more LS460 are coming off lease and the 2nd year LS460 are also starting to come off-lease now, so most people who heading there than the LS430, no matter how much we on the forum love our 430's. It's just a fact of auto life... the newer the better to buyers and the 430 is slowly becoming a forgotten vehicle to shoppers.![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Anyway, PEACE and long live our LS430s !!!!!

Not to mention that people in Canada are generally not as rich as our neighbours to the south, so there's less of a market here for an LS.
Heck, when I was looking to buy, I couldn't even find a used LS430 in the Vancouver area, whereas a quick trip to Washington state easily revealed over a dozen.

it's cause of the hitler stache...hitler ruined that moustache for everyone after that.
and the ls a dying line, imo, no. i think the flagship line of vehicles all depreciate fairly quickly as soon as the new models come out. keep in mind that many people in the market for a new luxury flagship vehicle, don't care to buy used and don't care for the old models.
sure LS are coming down in price, but i've also seen 03 s'classes go for about 14000 in ontario. and the s-class is far from a dying breed.

I'm looking into getting one as soon as my 3 series sells
so there will be at least 1 LS customer out there. LS is one of the nicest looking sedans, very clean and understated but attractive. My favorite big sedan is the Maserati Quattroporte
