05 LS430 CL - 10K Review
#16
i hope to never have another car without some form of adaptive cruise. It makes the car absolutely awesome. I have put 25k miles on the car and I know that at least 20k of it has been on laser cruise.

That has to be the truest statement ever made about this car. People are always awe-struck when i tell them its an 05. Due to the similarities between LS cars, its hard for people who dont normally come in contact with the car to get them confused. I was even asked "is that the 460"? I told him its the 430 while blushing. Nice to know that my car still looks up-to-date even with a design that dates back to the mid/late 90's. IMO, thats a classic in the making.

Emmm....
Hey, if it's raining, shouldn't have cruise on anyway...

Yeah! All that plus Silver/Black
Best was when someone asked me if it is the new LS model?
My car really looks new...even to me.
CL rocks!
Only complaint...sometimes I tend to fall asleep and I am really worried about this smooth ride.

3 kids...
I recorded the LF-A acceleration and shifting sound bit from the Lexus site and play it on an endless loop (repeat) on the CD player to make my LS sound more exciting.
But seriously, take 20 min. power naps and you'll be fine for another two to three hours.

The one I drove today/will be becoming my next car isn't CL (ML), but dang is that thing quiet and smooth! The car manages to isolate you from all those annoying outside sounds while keeping the driving experience quite pleasant and engaging. Toyota/Lexus has done one amazing job that's all I can say!
