Very nice gadgety thing... but sort of distracting no? And would they even pass US DOT inspections? I would think there is some switch to activate the "flashing" option and when off they're just regular functions.

Looks cool at first, I love technology put to good use, but my secondary reaction is that it would be seriously annoying to have to sit behind that in traffic

Looks like a miniature version of a third tier casino in downtown Las Vegas. Can you imagine a police cruiser coming up behind you with these things in full motion. That's an automatic pullover as far as I can see so keep anything (ahem) questionable at home ...

I think that is cool as hell, as for all the legal crap, its switchable, you run them in normal mode on the street, but switch them to crazy mode when your at events when its not a legal issue. Not a big deal.

^^^^ i would like to see you try that Roman. ill give you a full 24 hours to have full LED tails with sequential turn signals and a controller wired up.

oh and all using individual LEDs and not strips/boards.

 

if you design it on paper first, the build part is not long.
i made plenty of random LED stuff before

 

the build part is the most tedious job lol.

 

I want them just because of the led blinkers. If i'm not mistaken, these are just for 01-03 models

 

oh they make them for the 04-06 also.
