Default Park Assist Issue

This probably has been asked before. My park assist comes on , showing the front center icon, whenever I am stopped and in gear. I am assuming it is a sensor. Is there a reasonably simple way to check this and it is costly to repair/rectify?

My park assist sometimes has demons too every couple of months. The dealer checked mine and said that they could not find any issues with it. My car was spotless btw so there was no dirt on it. Clean off your sensors if your car is dirty and check again. I may go away on its own.

My left front sporadically goes off sometimes (when there is nothing there). I suspect a larger insect flew in front of it or something... Mine also tends to go off in drivethru areas. I leave a good foot or so of room but I get nonstop beeping when I am paying or getting handed the food lol.

In drive-throughs, watch for the low, concrete filled posts that protect the building. Same thing with bank drive-throughs.

I take it that no one has had any failures of the sensors. This is not an intermittent thing , but continuous.

My front center goes off randomly every now and then. I assume it's the sensor the paint has come off of. Not a big issue

Did this start pretty recently, or was it like that when you bought it? If it started randomly, did you hit something recently? Even a light impact can break a sensor. Unless these sensors are absolutely necessary to you, I probably wouldn't bother paying a lot of $$ to get these fixed and just turn them off instead.

We have had most of / maybe all of the front sensors replaced under CPO warranty. Ours stuck on and stayed on - had to turn them off on the dash. All were deemed bad by the dealer and replaced.

mine is doing the same thing on the front pass side, I tried to unplug it but that didn't stop it from going off. I guess I will have to order a replacement....
