Does anyone know how to reset the brake wear light on the 2003 ls430?
I had the rear pads replaced and the light is still on.

Like in euro cars, the sensors need to be replaced once they're tripped by wear against the discs. AFAIK,once they're changed, the light will go off by itself.

We were on a trip and the brake wear warning came on. When we returned home, I had the brakes replaced, the sensors replaced and new tires installed. The brake wear warning is still coming on. Any suggestions on how to get this to stop coming on?

Likely a short or loose connection some where. The brake sensor is nothing more than a simple wire loop that wears thru and breaks as the pads wear down. This breaks the wire loop (and electrical continuity) and causes the brake wear light to come on. It is not much of a warning system because when it comes on it means you have worn thru the wire on the break wear sensor and besides pads being worn, the relatively expensive wear sensor (about as expensive as the pad) needs to be replaced. There is no reset - replace the wear sensor (or just splice the two wires together from the old sensor) and electrical continuity is restored and brake wear "warning" light goes out. Best thing to do is to monitor pad wear visually at tire rotations and replace pads a little early before the expensive wear sensors are destroyed.

I am encountering the same problem, new sensor, light still on, there must more to reset than just changing sensor, my car is driving me nuts lately with warning lights, I had my passenger side fender repaid, the disconnected the head lamp assy, now I have a headlight leveling warning light.
