[QUOTE=sojah;5859758]yeah where? what is the spray called or what does it look like?

I believe the stuff call undercoating to help prevent rust and corrosion. Also attach a link to 3M as they sold the stuff also, hope this help.

So when you do this, you're cutting metal from the inside of the wheel arch lip? Wouldn't it be less hassle to roll the guards, than to cut metal and have to touch=up the paint?
There's also far less chance of bursting a tyre on a sharp edge with the rolling option.

I rolled and flared the guards on my UCF11 and both stageas with no paint damage. Just take your time and get the paint good and warm with a heat gun as you go.
Slowly, slowly is the key. Do the roll in several stages and you won't have issues.

^ ^ ^ after seeing some with dimples in their lex's that were rolled i was paranoid about that.. i have had 2 cars with rolled fenders in the rear in the past and neither dimpled but i was told that there is a good chance that my ls430 would dimple. i thought shaving would give it a little extra room and would avoid any possible dimpling...

I've shaved my rear in Spring before I swapped my airsus to the coilovers.
Front is not shaved yet since I have aftermarket fenders (fiberglass)

I thought about rolling rear but after seeing the 3 tabs, I choose to shave them off. Easy job with an air tool.

Good deal glad it all worked out for you, I did some grinding on my rear fenders last night I put some spacers on and had to grind about an 1/8 inch away. It sits perfectly flush now!

secondly, i had mines done yesterday and 1 looks about perfect all the way around but one seems to have a real rough edge with a lot of flake at or near the edge. i have since taken touch up paint and done about 2 layers on each inside fender that was shaved, but i am just curious if there is a better way to make sure the flake doesn't spread.

when standing and looking down at the fenders there is no sign of paint flake but when you squat down directly in front of the fender on the one you can see the paint flake on the inside portion of the shaved fender, like the paint is just raised up and flaky. is there a good solution to fixing this permanently??? thanks,
i think its not worth it i did that this summer and as soon as my after market wheels rubbed the fender the wrong way the fender folded..in IMO dont do it! i had to purchased a new fender this time im rolling it.. i was told without that inner lip the fender becomes weak thank goodness i only tested my drivers side.. the only way to lose those flakes is body work!!!

as u can see in the picture driver side was shaved turned corner to fast on my wheels a folded the fender had to bend it back out. passanger i didnt shaved came around corners rubbed but never folded once
