Well on another forum they are saying its "normal belt whine" and that it possibly has some Alternator whine as well due to the age of it.

Anyone have 80k+ want to see if they have the same noise?

I have just over 100k with no whining noise... You can pick up one of these (mechanics stethoscope) for $10 or so...

Your timing belt is due on 90K and you have 80K...

Once more I will recommend you to change the whole timing belt kit...pulleys, tensioner, belt, water pump...

More you wait, more you risk...

You really (and I mean it - REALLY) don't want that belt to snap (or a pulley to seize or anything else in that regards)...
