Default Steering Wheel Remote - Integration with aftermarket head unit?

Finally my Beat Sonic kit arrived.

I have a 2001 LS430 - no navi / no ML sound...
So it would be the standard Pioneer system inside...

Now, I've ordered Pioneer AVH P4200 DVD from ebay...

I'm sure that everything will be easy with putting the Beat Sonic kit and the unit in, but has anyone found any possible solution to integrate the steering wheel remote (at least for the basic functions)?

If there is no integration unit available, is there a chance to find the remote wires and do something with them (hardwire them somehow)?

Tnx

P.S.I'll post the pics once all is done

Ive got an 2002 UL and also jus installed the BeatSonic kit and everything works jus fine and i mean everything, except the "mode button" on the steering wheel, that feature was disabled on my plug and play kit from japan.....

Urs should work too but i could be wrong bcuz u have no nav and no ml sound, install it first and see what hapens b4 u spend any unneccessary money, good luck....

Thanks, that is actually good news as I read alot that the guys who installed the kit lost steering wheel remote control functions...

Once everything arrives, I'll put it in and we'll see...will post here

i hear beat sonic is making a new unit that does not effect the factory mode button and hopefully allows you to use the volume controls still.

Ok, though luck...

After installing BeatSonic + Pioneer AVH-P4200, my steering wheel remote is completely out...no buttons work

Anyone has any suggestions?
