Stepdaughter has gone to whatever body shop the insurance company said she should use for various repairs that could do the work as quick as possible. I knew the Civic was going to be trashed from day 1, so I did not get too involved. I do inspect the car's mechanical and tires periodically when she is visiting just to make sure it is safe to drive.

Typical teenage girl that gets a brand new free car for her 16th birthday (from her grandfather) it was trashed almost from the beginning, I don't think she has washed the car in 5 years - so the quality paint and body work is superfluous in this case. The car is a rolling sty.

Price is WAY to high. Just be patient and continue to scour the classifields, Ebay, Autotrader. I searched for 9 months before I found the EXACT color combo, price, mileage that I wanted. One thing I found in my research is that these vehicles vary greatly in price. As one post stated, they (Stealership) are VERY proud of that car. IMO, I,d keep looking.
