ultimately i am thinking about stepping up my trunk game in the coming months since its winter and i want to be able to have some air pass through from my trunk to my cabin. since i have a UL the trunk seems just about completely sealed off from the cabin. i was wondering if anyone has removed the mini fridge and if so then what about the carpet wall behind it between the trunk and rear seats??
what is the best way or easiest way to get air to pass through from the trunk to the cabin?? anyone done anything like this yet?
presently i have the stock sub removed and have a single jl12w6 and 500.1 jl amp in a small sealed cheap-o box.

I would also like to know this. I recently had a custom box made for 2 x 10" subs. They subs totally pound, but it is not really coming into the cabin. I also have the UL and between all the items... AC unit, fridge, mechanical rear seats etc. The cabin is definately being shielded from the trunk.
My next step was going to be to remove the rear seats and rear deck liner to see where I can remove un-wanted/un-needed items and or sections of metal.
As long as the structure is not compromised, am I willing to do some custom cutting. I spent a lot of money adding amps, subs etc and now the bass is "trapped" in my trunk... not cool!!
Anyone with any experience here please help us out ;-)

have used the fridge a couple times since purchased,, keep soda cool not cold and it saved some high price chocolate on a hot day,,
is one of those items I think about so little to use much,, just so easy to pull in for a soda or Bucks and the fridge seems more of a gadget,,
looked at the Hyundai Equus yesterday and they have the fridge on the better car,, theirs handles the cooling of the seats and fridge by a thermoelectric unit in lieu of trying it by pumping the air conditioning which was a bad mistake for Lexus to install on the 430,,

The LS430 uses thermoelectric units for the seats. The rear fridge is part of the reac A/C system which primarily cools the rear passenger area independently of the front.
