Dumb Mistake on my part
My 2006 has a yellowy cream interior trim. The drivers side door arm rest is worn and has lost its color. I have been searching ebay for a replacement panel and thought I found what I wanted. The seller had a brand new OEM panel which he described as tan. The photograph on ebay looked ldentical to mine. Well guess what it arrived this morning and it is a lighter shade of cream than mine
Does anyone have a list of trim codes for the various model years as it looks as if I will now have to re-list this but I want to be sure that I describe it accurately. The other challenge I have is to identify what code the new part is. There are all sorts of numbers on the backside of the panel but I am not sure whether any of these are trim related.
Lastly I still need to find a replacement panel for mine.

Photographs of the existing and new door panel
Here is a photograph showing the existing and the newly purchased door panel. Notice the lighter color of the new one. It is cream in color whereas the existing one has a strong yellow tinge.
I have also photographed the B pillar which I think contains the trim code. Am I correct that it is LA07?
I have looked at the back of the new door panel and photographed the only markings I can find. Could any of these be the trim code?

IIRC, you own a ML with cashmere interior. That door panel almost looks ecru. Also, what year is the door panel from? I wonder if 01-03 door panels were the same, as there was an ivory interior color that was, I believe, lighter than cashmere and darker than ecru. If the panel turns out to be cashmere, was your car a smoker's car? That may darken up the plastic and leather.

I think you might be correct and it is Ecru although looking at interior colors on that web site from earlier models Ivory is a possibility. However, Ivory does not seem to have been an option for the 04/05/06 model years.
My car was never smoked in and so I don't think there any darkening that has taken place.
Does anyone have the trim codes for Ecru and Ivory and any interior photographs?

Using the on line Lexus Brochures for the various model years, I was able to narrow it down to either Cashmere or Ecru. Given that the one I have is Cashmere, I can say with certainty that the one I mistakenly purchased is Ecru in color. I have now placed this for sale in the forum's classified section for the LS430

Yes, ecru was available on CL also in 04-06. Same with Saddle, though it was fairly rare in the US. Both were called "comfort leather" and were a mandatory option for the CL & UL. The black semi aniline leather on the UL and CL was a more expensive mandatory option than the comfort leathers.
