I paid ~400 for all the parts from my local lexus dealer, IIRC. Did the work myself. For anyone willing to tackle this job, you will save alot of money by doing this yourself

There is a detailed write up and pictures here in case anyone is up to the challenge

My car is an '04 and only 90k miles so I felt I was saving enough $$ by doing the labor myself. OEM parts online were 30-40% cheaper than dealer so I felt pretty good value there as well. I didn't want to be second guessing quality of parts with an interference engine. If I keep car until 180k miles I'll probably consider a kit like this then (as the cars residual value will be quite a bit less then).

I did learn later I could have saved a bit of $$ by buying the full strength (concentrate) coolant and diluting it myself. Instead I bought the prediluted stuff not knowing this is a much more expensive way to buy it.
FWIW - they claim that AISIN supplies toyota. I did find a reference on the web stating that toyota owns 30% of aisin. It's a pretty good guess that toyota does not manufacture any of those parts. Who knows what the truth is though.

I did compare the parts side by side and everything seemed more or less identical.

I paid about 1,200 at Alderson Lexus in Lubbock. That included four wheel alignment, & a nice little print out sheet telling me what had been done. Plus, I got a loaner RX360 delivered to me and the car returned to me when done. I had to give back the loaner, but what the heck! After I see what some people paid, I feel pretty good. I have since replaced the brake pads and after hitting a large piece of truck tire on I-20 ($2800) the alignment needs to be done over!
