So I purchased an 04 LS with 38K on the clock. It has the ML navi unit, but the XM has not been installed. Does anyone have experience with adding XM? Also, how well does it integrate with the display? Does anyone have any photos of how well it works? (Or doesn't) I need to understand if the touch display will have the stations or not.

I got my 06 LS with ML NAV unit in 2009 and shortly after I installed Sirius radio at the shop which was recommended by Lexus dealer.
It works well, has all the stations. Sometimes, at the classical music stations it won't fully display long names by performers.
I really enjoy it.

I just recently purchased a 05 ls430 and it came with a ViasTech unit. Can't remember what model but the integration is great. I believe there is a group buy going on in the vendor classifieds.

I have the unit that was installed by the dealer and integration is excellent, complete control from steering wheel etc and no issues so far. 2004 LS

I got a major quote from Lexus and had the local stereo/electronis store set me up for 200 bucks on my 04

I have a unit installed and it works well. It works like every thing else installed in the car.

I had to use an aftermarket for my '05 LS430. I think I got some story about Lexus discontinuing the XM after the model year, as an add-on, that is. Anyway, I googled around until I got an aftermarket and had a local shop install it. Works fine,and has for three years and about 95,000 miles. I have Nav & Levinson, it works onscreen as well. Don't recall the maker, but I could dig it up if you can't fine a good one!
