Caliper Bolts

I have the bolts in the original Home Depot bag, from another car, and they fit my Centrics (rear) in the basement. I was gonna verify they fit the rears yesterday when I was mounting the snows, and wouldn't you know I can't find the bolts. The current rotors are without any coating so I hope the bolt holes will be ok, they are rusted...
Not to stir up controversy, but my notes said M8 with a 1.25 pitch, fit the Centrics in the box. Using common sense, 8mm seems like it could be the right size, 14mm is pretty large (think of drain plugs). Since I can't find my bolts and will have to buy new ones, I won't know for sure again until next year...a person could buy both and return the wrong ones, but I'll try M8's first...

Dunno why, I have experienced stuck rotors which a hammer would not get off on various cars....on the LS430, I noticed the fronts wobble without rims mounted, i.e. are only held on by the calipers and pads, so they will come off easily...the rears look stuck to the hubs but I plan on using the extractor holes. I actually need to purchase caliper bolts myself for the job...

Here is a dealer on ebay that you can obtain the proper OEM bolts from. This is the same dealer I purchase my wiper blade inserts from and I have had no problems with them in the past. By the way. I just purchased a 2005 LS430 with about 148K miles on it and am loving it. I had a 2010 ES 350 before this car and the LS430 is a true luxury car. The 2010 ES was just a Camry with a nicer interior in my opinion.

The part number for each bolt is 90105-14151. This is an actual Lexus dealer in Scottsdale, Arizona that is selling them on ebay and they sell many other parts on there as well.

Good question. I have not purchased these caliper bolts from them but will most likely purchase them when I do the calipers on my 05 LS next spring. They are stated as being new and in the picture you can see some red thread locker on them which looks new to me. It would probably be a good idea to call them to see if they come in a sealed bag or not. The only thing I have purchased from this dealer is wiper blade inserts three times and they were definitely new Lexus OEM inserts each time and came with a legit dealer invoice and a 12 month warranty that was specified as being valid at any USA Lexus dealer. I live in Missouri by the way and do not work for that Lexus dealer in Arizona it was just more convenient than driving across town to the dealer here in Kansas City.

Also, if you do get the extractor bolts make sure to put them in some sort of labeled container in your toolbox so you know what they are in the future.

I live 5 miles from Bell Lexus in Scottsdale. No need to worry about the quality or integrity of their eBay offerings as they are 100% legit.
They have a rather progressive parts dept with a presence on both Amazon and eBay.

Well, I just bought two for the knuckle that I'm now replacing and they did not come in bags... The parts guy just handed me two bolts. I would say that you might be ok with the ebay seller as long as the threadlock is not disturbed.
EDIT: Just follwed the link and those look exactly like what I picked up yesterday. I'd say you'd be good buying those.

I purchased them, so here's the deal.....the Toyota bag, like drain plug washers, diff crush washers, etc., have qty 10. My order had the bags, clearly showing the p/n for front, and p/n for rear. The bags were opened, with 4 bolts in each. I believe they are brand new, and most likely the other 6 for each bag, were used at the dealership, or maybe shipped out. But it seems the mfg. does not package them in qty 2 or qty 4, or maybe they do, but 10 is more common. Since these bolts are rather pricey, I would say get them on eBay from a dealer....

Good to know....they even include a Lexus invoice from their dealership, and state you get a 12 mo./12k warranty at any Lexus dealership, seems legit to me....
