Thanks guys...
After looking at more pics on the net, yes, it seems very much like a '01-'03 model.
The registration card says '05 WALD 430K Celsior..
Is there a way I can check with the Chasis number?

With regards to dropping the car, looked at the Megan Coilovers.. The car currently has TOM's springs on them (not sure who manufactured them).
Would a air ride controller work best for the car?

The disc are slightly warped and may need replacement too.. my mech said it's gonna cost a bomb

Your car doesn't come with air suspension, so an air ride controller isn't applicable. I'd look at something a little higher quality than Megan Coilovers considering the quality of parts you have on there right now.

Replacement brake discs shouldn't cost that much all things considered.

Why does the engine cover say "Kompressor"?????!!! Isnt that the term Mercedes uses instead of "supercharger"?? They might as well put "AMG" in the back....lol

Megans aren t bad they are similar to BCRacing coils and I love mine and they drop the car lower than most.

Wald actually gained its popularity from the kits they produced for Mercedes, most likely thats how it came!

Looking at the Tien coilovers. Road condition here is not the best so planning to lower about an inch only..

Yea.. the carbon fiber engine cover is very simillar to my SL 55.

354hp is not much considerinng the standard car has about 300hp..
Will look around on the replacement brake disc..

Thanks guys... yeah the amount of wood especially in this color makes the interior look a littl cheesy

Took the car for a run on the highway and boy did it sprint quick.. from the timing it did slightly below 6 sec from 0-60.. you can hear the supercharger whine under acceleration..

Just took the Wheels out to check on the suspension and noticed that the car has already got coilovers. The words are in Japanese but the brand is TIEN. Never heard of these.. will do a little more research online.. Plan to adjust these to a lower setting next week.
Will take some pics of the new look after lowering..
