have to take into account the air susp. if he has not done any mods to the car like lowering it via the extracurricular methods than i say its worth more. if it was completely stock, in good condition, in a desirable color combo that i wanted i would say upwards of 26k (range i would say 22-26k depending on a whole bunch of stuff
) if its a private person selling. also check to see if 60k maintenance has been done which is like $1000+ at the stealership. get it inspected at a lex dealership for the $120 whatever they charge, it is money well spent.

For a reference point: I picked up an 04 with 25k miles, ML trim, CPO 3 yr warranty, no accident, regularly serviced LS this past summer for $25k. Yes UL has more options, but higher miles + no warranty would make me say no more than $24k, preferably lower 20s.

I just brought a 04 with 57K. UL package OEM chrome rims. Car is near perfect. I looked everywhere and cars were going around 24 to 26. Trade in value to a Jag dealer on our car was 17.5.

Get the service history. Enter the VIN as the owner and check it. (Don't do this too often and drop the car from your registration if you don't buy it.)

Average asking price for a 2004 LS430 with NAV and apprx 60k miles is $23,750 right now. Maybe the full boat UL version may be worth $500-1k more if its a pristine car and everything works. Add approx $1.5k more if its a CPO car but I don;t think they CPO 04s anymore. Depending on local demand and how mint that car is you may be able to get a 5-15% discount from asking price.

I have an 04 UL which I bought in 07 with 22K miles. It now has 66K miles, in like new condition with 1 1/2 years left on the CPO extended warranty which I purchased when purchasing the car (transferable), have no desire whatsoever to get rid of this car, and you couldn't pry it away from me for less than $35K. Enough said.

I purchased an '04 UL from an individual that was under CPO warranty. Pristine, all dealer services, no paint work, with about 47k mi. It's flint mica/black.
This was in March, 2010. I paid $22.5k.
This was my 4th LS and 2nd UL. I LOVE IT!

I hope you know that CPO warranties are non-transferrable. You can only get them from a dealer.
