Absolutely. You don't need a body shop. I used the same touch up guy the Lexus dealer uses to touch up new and used cars before they are sold. The work the guy did in my driveway was incredible. I would have thought that the metallic ("Crystal") white on my LS would be hard to match but it was a perfect match is still looks great after several years. Best 100 bucks I've ever spent.
Agree, I am as OCD as any proud and protective LS430 owner, but I don't believe there is a need to use a body shop for a bumper scrape on a 5+ year old car if you can find a competent touch up guy. Unless I was an extreme perfectionist and simultaneously had unlimited funds - then I'd have the bumper refinished by the Lexus body shop. Besides you could easily spend hundreds $$$ on getting bumper completely redone and have another scrape on it 2 weeks later - aarrgghhh.
