Default Driver Front Headrest Gets Jammed?

hey guys, i was wondering if any of you CL members have this issue. i accidently sat down and my lanyard got caught on the headrest button and made it go all the way up, when i press it down it goes down half way then struggles then just stops. i can get it down if i help it, but what's the use of that? i searched for removing the front headrest but no one has done it. i dont think its possible. i dont play with the headrest much anyways, it always stays in 1 position. any ideas? thanks!

I dont know this is the answer, but when I first got my LS, I didnt realize they were power. When trying to adjust the passenger side headrest, I pulled the damn thing clear off. Popped it back on, power adjusted all the way up and down just fine. You may not want to try that, but I know I didnt damage mine doing it, may fix yours.

I would leave it in the correct spot. no need to change it unless different height people drive it.
