Default Cabin Air Filters 2004-2006 LS 430

Need help on changing the filters:

How many cabin air filters are there?

Are they both activated charcoal types?

Given that 2004-2006 LS 430 has knee airbags, how do you access the air filter there?

How about the one at the back?

Ive heard there up to 8 cabin filters altogether and would also like to hear about the rest. The only one I know of off the bat is the main one behind the glove box, but if Im going to change that Id really love to know what else is in the car so I can change them all at once.

Default Activated Charcoal Cabin Air Filters...

Wow, there are a lot of filters in this car:

Probably just the front cabin one gets used most, and needs to be changed most often.

What are your experiences on the activated charcoal ones?

Do they have less flow than aftermarket regular ones?

Many of the aftermarket ones are activated charcoal ones as well, including the TYC which is an OEM replacement. You have to remember that Toyota likely doesnt actually produce their own filters, they have companies that make them for them and then resell. I havent replaced mine yet but will be doing so in the next couple of weeks. I just want to see which ones I should replace, likely all of them I guess. Since I dont have an UL, looks like its just the main cabin filter and the 2 for the front seats.
