How much more would you pay for a UL package rather then CL

The rear A/C in the UL is amazing for a car that must be driven in the desert area of Phoenix. The cooler is just a by product of that independent rear A/C. It really helps in making the entire car absolutely cool and keeping the temperature will controlled.
Couldn't do without it (I suppose I could, but I wouldn't like it).

I would seriously look at the UL, but that comes down to a personal and financial decision for you. As mentioned, if 2k is an issue now, then go for the CL and have some money for maintenance when you get it home as they are always some things to do.
The air suspension "issue" should not be a deal breaker though, after all it is a Lexus.
I have had no issues with the air suspension as well, but then I only have 26k on the car.

The biggest problem I had with buying a UL (aside from paying for extra stuff that I didn't want / need / want to pay to fix) was the loss of trunk space due to the back seat goodies. Basically, most of the space from the rear wheel wells forward disappears from the trunk.

The UL reduces the trunk from "cavernous" to pretty big, but compared to a lot of cars it's still a decent trunk. We can easily fit three to four large suitcases plus have room to tuck stuff on the sides. I don't want the OP to think the UL trunk is small.

True. Trunk capacity is 20.2 cubic feet for non UL-units and 17.5 cubic ft. for UL units.
We carry my wife's folding wheelchair along with a duffel bag of her other stuff, so trunk capacity is important for us.
