There are A-holes out there that vandalize out of envy. Some people are just disappointed with their own status in life.
Let me catch someone in the act of keying my car etc. They will be face down on the ground, with me sitting on their back till the cops arrive.

Sorry to hear that It hurts to see avoidable damage to a car you care about. Let karma ultimately take care of the POS responsible for damaging your car. Best to get it fixed quick and don't look back. The ding-bags are always out there and they will get you no matter how careful you are...nothing to do but fix it and get back to enjoying your car.

ooo that's the one thing I fear most right now cause mine is dentless all around - we had someone actually back into our Accords front passenger fender and drive off - the door would only open halfway!! some people - well I'm glad you found a fair estimate to get the dent out.

I feel your pain! We had someone scrape the right rear bumper of our LS last week, down through the paint. It sucks! I know it's a six year old car but it was dent- and scuff-free until then. We'll probably just touch it up so it's not so obvious from a distance. Can't justify re-painting the entire bumper.

The first dent always hurts the most! When I purchased my car almost one year ago, it had one scrape on the front bumper which I decided to leave alone. My reasoning for this was that if fixed, the next damage would be inevitable and make me a slave to repairing all imperfections. Last week when I got my first body chip on my rear door from the landscaper, it didn't hurt as badly as if my car was completely perfect. It's all psychological and of course ****.

Haters gonna hate. Get it fix if it bothers ur quote didn't seem bad. But I'm with Bocatrip on this topic, I just touch up the nicks I have and keep moving. Not that I don't care how my car looks.

I consider my LS430 to be a daily driver. A nice day daily driver, but still a daily driver subject to road damage. My Subaru is my nasty day and utility daily driver with the requisite dirt, small dents, dog hair, dog nose prints on the windows, etc.
