My key will start the car and do all other functions but the car will not detect it. I replaced the batteries in both keys and the car will not start unless I use the key itself. Any ideas?

If you have smartaccess, make sure you have it enabled by pushing the correct button under the dash above your right knee.

Are you sure its not the valet key. To verify, the valet key doesn't have a trunk release.

make shore your smart key fuction is not turned off.

Thanks for the help, I had pushed the button under my right knee and deactivated it.

Excellent! I hope you didn't push the other button as that arms / disarms the passenger ejection seat for voice command. If you try to use the voice commands to change the radio station and the voice responds with "Confirm up, up, and away - yes or no?", be very careful in your response.
