Unhappy HELP! Car wont start and its not the battery! If you like a challenge help me!

So i went to go start my moms lexus and there is no power at all...The doors would not unlock with the remote and there was no signs of electricity when i tried to start the car. No signal lamps, no door open beeps, and most importantly no start!..It was strange because my mom is a short person and is one of those people that sit close to the steering wheel and when i went to the car the mirrors were not folded in like they were suppose to and the seat was jammed all the way back? is this some kind of security feature or it a problem with the ecu? HELP PLEASE!

How do you know it isn't the battery? Sounds to me like it might be disconnected.

I had a similar problem on my old 5 series. It turned out there was a fuse that controlled the electrics (starter motor included i guess) that had died. Was a $3 part that fixed it, dealer proceeded to charge me $300+

i checked the fuses and there were no signs of any fuses blown under hood and in cab but ill recheck. Could it be a relay and how would i know if they were bad?

I'm not a mechanic, so my knowledge of these things are very limited (so plz take my advice with a grain of salt lol). Since your problem sounds like there's an issue with the master electrical component (the thing that regulates all the electrics in the car?) I would look into that. If nothing comes up, give Lexus or your mechanic a call Mon...

+1 We/I don't hear of that many electrical issues like this so I'm very curious where this link is.
