IMO, it can be done but it has to be done correctly. I've seen a few Celsiors with colored wheels but majority of them were Black Onyx. With the right wheels in the right color, like done in the following link, you could pull off a hella clean and unique look: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009...0-on-21-s.aspx

01LEXPL, lol, hella gay indeed! But that's why I said "with the right wheels in the right color." Personally, I wouldn't put painted stocks on my LS430, but I do own custom painted wheels. I roll on a set of WORK LS507s with a gloss black lip, flat black face, and chrome rivets.

Get a can of Plasti-dip in red (can get it at Home Depot or Lowes) and spray 'em.
You can peel it right off if you don't like it.
