Yeah man, you're basically hangin yourself by talkin or even mentioning goin for anything bigger than 20's on here lol. Its hilarious but can get irritating. Different is different. Whether good or bad is a matter of opinion. Whatever you do, keep me posted pimp.

I'm from Texas too, and ALL I see here are 300s, chargers, Impalas, etc, etc... If you must go big, go for a nice set of 22's. About turning heads, shoot, I would ALWAYS get complimented and questioned by the "Slab" guys, and I was rolling 20"s. I guess riding a big body low, gets more attention than riding high . It's all about execution and how well everything flows. Remember, it is a Lexus . It's your car, so do your thing.

i had 22s on my 01 ls, you have to get a good offset wheel and width.
mine was lowered on 22 inch lexanis. it would rub the inner fender liner slightly in the front when turning into a parking spot, but not full lock or around a corner. the rear never rubbed.
i couldn't imagine what it would take to put 24s and make the front not rub.
also i always got asked if my 22s were 24s.
every charger and 300 has at least 22s on it here. stop light pimpin only gets so far if you are in a dodge or chrysler and you pull up next to a lexus.

Do it, take pics, post them up, let us all see... if you're in SA then USA1Motorsports on San Pedro can steer you in the right direction... they got 42's on a Regal and that's just crazy. I'm from Texas too... I have 20's, Satin Black, and Murdered Out to the max. I get all kinds of crazy looks and compliments as well as complaints. Goes with the territory.

i went to USA to have the door popper kit on my camry installed... they did a half a$$ job on it and i ended up having to figure out everything myself and fixing the work... Maybe im the only one with a bad experience there... I put off the big wheels for now, until im done with my camry... but thanks for the info.....

I have been upgrading a few things to my LS lately...(new radiator, 10000k bulbs, led mirrors..etc..) but now i think im ready to upgrade from my oem chrome 18's.. I know everyone is going to say 24's are too big because of the ride and smoothness reduction they would cause. But in my opinion, 20's are old, and 22's everyone has, and if you really want to do it big 24's and up in the only new way to go..
With than being said, I just need to know exactly what i would be looking at when attempting to do this mod. I have the stock suspension and everything rides good as is... But I understand I may need some type of new coils, or struts, and i am not familiar with suspension modification..
I need to know what type of parts I may need to buy to get this done. I dont mind having the reduction in my ride quality as long as the mod is done correctly and i dont have to worry about anything if i decide to put my oems back on if need be... I know upgraded brakes for the size of wheels, and possible fender mods may be needed.. Any feedback would be great..
and Yes i live in TX and everyone here rides big wheels
