I have been searching for a white LS430 but cant seem to find one in my price range, or with the UL edition i wanted. I did find a black 01 LS with 71k miles with red seats and dash for sale for about 13500. what do you guys think? Is this color rare or worth it? I have hoenstly never seen this color scheme befoe and was wondering if its even OEM lexus seats.

 

Red seats?? Or even red piping?? Definetly NOT oem!!! Has to be custom. A nice combo tho. If the ads on the net, post up the link.

 

If it is a dark bordeaux red, yes, it is from the factory. There don't seem to be many out there. I wish that was available in the 04-06 units. Follow the links to the 01 sales brochure in the FAQ thread.

Oh I've RARELY seen these! Yes it is factory and I really like the leather finish. If it's kept up it looks really nice IMO. My favorites though are LS430 that are either black or white with Saddle interior. Those are incredible!!

wow thats hot i wouldnt mind over paying for it even if its a 01 .. buy it then find a 04-06 in a junk / salvage yard with a good front end and do a conversion .. sumone on her has done it . the burgandy guts looks good wow

 

That looks amazing! I've never seen this interior before.

 

Just for reference, I showed pics of that interior to some of my my adult children who were over yesterday. While they like my car, that interior got the thumbs down from them.

 

Haha I'm not really a fan either to be totally honest. Maybe it's just not really a color us younger people like? I definitely think it's different and if OP wants it, he/she should get it by all means. I'm not a huge fan of red interiors in general b/c it reminds me a plasticy Buick LeSabre rental we briefly had when I was a kid in the 90s....lol
