Default E-Brake Handle

So I'm currently looking for an 04-06 LS with just the right color combination and options and it seems every car I look at has an E-Brake handle that is just a shade or two off from the rest of the interior. Has anyone else noticed this and why is this the case???

Um, what brand and model car are you referring to? My Lexus LS430 parking brake is set by a pedal, not a handle. I had to learn not to accidentally push it when entering the car. The only "E-Brake handle" is a black release which matches the color of the lower dash.

The release handle is not a good color match in the cashmere/ecru interiors. All I've seen are like this. Even my LS400 with the light interior (they called it ivory, but it's really more like cashmere) is the same way.

Ahh, now the question makes sense. I was trying to come up with a mental image of a LS430 with a leather-covered parking brake handle between the seats.

Interesting observation. I've had the car for 9 months now and never noticed. The brake release things are probably just mass produced plastic pieces that get stuck into interiors of similar color.

If you're really **** then these links should make your day. You can reverse the yellowing of the ABS emergency brake release handle with some hydrogen peroxide from a store such as Sally's, some OxyClean and with a little sunshine it will be good as new.
Here and Here.
