We had a 250 mile road trip today with the CD changer loaded up with both kinds of music - country and western. (My wife, bless her heart, likes 60-70s rock and listens to a full CD changer of her music overnight in her bedroom, but has learned to let me own the music choice when on the road.) When the ML CD changed from a Zac Brown Band CD to Trace Adkins, she commented on how quick and silent the CD change was - almost like it was just playing the next song on the same CD. I never noticed that before, but she was right when I think about other current and past CD changers I've had at home or in other cars.

Loving the system here too on my 04 but lacking in the bass department for certain type of music.

Yeah, hip hop and rap. I have a friend who's producer for local rappers and he gives me CDs to listen to and they're good, but not as good as in my MDX and that's just some regular joe radio.

I agree with Caddy, this is the most silent system I've had transitioning discs. My old RX300, sounds like something is about to pop out of the glove box sometimes with all the humming and clicking transitioning.
