Just wanted everyone here to know.....
After a long day at the mall, I came home with a car full of stuff. We had to put transfer the baby to bed and had to walk the dogs. In short, I forgot to completely unload the car and left the trunk lid open overnight.
This morning as I was walking the dogs is when I saw the trunk open. Fearing the battery was drained, I tried to start the car. Somewhere in time, the LS apparently shut off the trunk lights. That saved my morning !!!!!

No experience with the trunk light, but we have killed the battery leaving the interior reading light on. (Our mailbox is at the end of the road so if we pick up the mail after dark we turn on the reading light to look through it.) It's happened twice - we're slow learners... ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Our Chrysler minivan turns off the interior lights after a while so we were surprised the LS didn't.
