Is the Lexus "Ownership Experience" the Best?
Compared to domestic luxury and other (non-Japanese) mainstream brands, I've found the overall Lexus ownership experience to be superior to all others. The combination of the LS430 quality & reliability, competent & courteous service, and real loaners (not Enterprise rentals) has made for a very pleasant year.

Lexus Test Driver
The 430 itself is on a whole other level in terms of quality and comfort compared to other cars I've had so far. On top of being one of the world's best luxury cars, I love how trouble-free the car is. I've had nothing go wrong after roughly 10 months of ownership. Despite being 7 yrs old, the car still feels extremely tight with no squeaks/rattles or any extraneous noises. I am still very much in love with this car and continue to praise it daily.
As for the service:
I had the the 30k mi one done a few months back. I went to the closest one to me, which was Lexus of Ann Arbor. The staff was very friendly, polite, and courteous. They honored the CPO free oil change, rotated my tires, and did an overall inspection (thankfully previous owner replaced the brakes at 25k mi, right before I got the car lol). I got a new Lexus RX350 as a loaner, so no complaints there! I definitely have had a very positive experience thus far and hope to continue it for many yrs.
I strongly recommend Lexus of Ann Arbor if you're in the area. I've had a great experience with them everytime I've been there. The staff was polite and patient during test drives, regardless of whether we were considering buying or not. The service dept. is also very pleasant to deal with. The service reps are honest and don't try to con you out of money or slip in misc fees.
Sidenote: While I have had a great experience at Lexus, I have also had positive experiences with BMW. The BMW dealership (BMW of Ann Arbor) was also a great dealer. Much like Lexus, they had friendly staff. The techs took the time out to go on test drives with me when I complained of squeaks/rattles and brakes. However, the 3 series is not even close to being as polished as the LS430.
