Default Fan problem

Hey guys new to the forum and looking for some advise on my wifes car. It is a 2001 ls430 the problem is the 2 fans on the backside of the radiator. I only get one of them running and the one of the driver side is off. What are my options on what to check is there a relay or anything that would run this fan and if so where is it. Thanks

if you tap it with something while it is on at normal operation temparture do u see it come back on for a little bit.... if it does it might be an itermittent fan problem requiring you to replace the motor... id do that first... if it doesnt come on at all even after tapping with something than maybe there could be another possible relay issue... read my urgent cooling advise thread, there is some info on there..I am having a few similar issues myself w/my passenger side fan..

Fan motors is not cheap. About 300usd per piece...
Passenger side motor seem to go first.
